An institution that is public, spontaneous, and non-profit, founded in 1953 by individuals who once struggled with addiction to help and rescue addicts from addiction. This association operates in 143 countries around the world, including Muslim countries, holds 72,215 meetings each week in more than 82 different languages, and has over 2 million members in recovery.

Just for Today: I have been given a spiritual gift greater than material wealth: my recovery. I will thank the God of my understanding for my freedom from active addiction
